Brandt Balton, owner of B.A. Balton Sign Company began operations in January, 2000. He brought with him valuable experience gained during the eighteen years he worked with his father Harold at H.A. Balton Sign Company.

Brandt started B.A. Balton Sign Company with only one lift truck and has since expanded his fleet to four as well as other commercial and heavy duty equipment and several employees. Located in Rossville, TN, B.A. Balton Sign Company services the greater midsouth area.

The Balton Family sign business in Memphis dates back to 1875 with D.F. Balton. Now, 135 years later, Brandt continues in the sign business as a fifth generation craftsman.

Harold Arthur Balton Jr., of Lakeland, TN, passed away September 10, 2009. He was 75. Harold was born in Memphis. He graduated from CBC High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. When he returned to Memphis, he worked at Balton & Sons Signs. In 1960, he founded H. A. Balton Sign Co. and operated it until his retirement in 2000. Harold, was a fourth generation sign man.
